Wedding candles for Andreea and Victor: a story laid out right

Sînziana says:

A bride isn’t looking for just two candles.

She’s looking for the peace of knowing that, on the wedding day, the important things will be in their place.

That the photograph will show up well.

That the names are spelt correctly.

That the message won’t look crowded.

That the candles will stand straight.

That they’ll look elegant in the photos.

That she won’t have to fix anything when she should only be living the moment.

That’s what we feel when someone sends us a photograph, two names, a date and a message.

We don’t see just a personalisation.

We see a story that has to be laid out right.

That’s how it was with the wedding candles we made for Andreea Bălan and Victor Cornea.

A clean, moving order, very careful with the details: white, simple candles, personalised with the couple’s photograph, with their names, the date of the event and their message.

Because on a day like this, candles aren’t just decorative objects.

They’re part of the moment.

What a bride really wants from her candles

Wedding candles appear at many moments of the day.

They’re prepared beforehand. They’re held in the hand. They’re lit. They’re photographed. They’re seen up close and from a distance. And after the event, they stay in the photos and in the memory.

That’s why, for a bride, the question isn’t only:

“What do the candles look like?”

The real question is:

“Will they tell our story right?”

For Andreea and Victor, the choice was clean: white, simple candles, personalised with their photograph, their names and the date of the event.

On the front, the message was set out simply:

Iubire infinită! ∞ Victor & Andreea 10.05.2026

And on the back, the candle kept the same idea, with the godparents named:

Iubire infinită! ∞ Nașii: Tudor & Bissan

No crowded decoration. Nothing competing with the photograph. No visual noise.

Just the white candle, their picture and the message.

Sometimes simplicity lets the emotion show best.

When a simple candle has to be made without a mistake

The candles for Andreea and Victor were made as a special order, 1 metre 20 cm tall.

A candle that tall isn’t simply made “longer”.

It has to stay straight. Stable. Visually clean. In proportion. The photograph mustn’t get lost on its surface, and the text has to be visible without crowding it.

This is where the part comes in that the couple don’t need to see, but that we have to control.

The body of the candle is made of ultra-refined paraffin enriched with stearin and natural palm wax, a composition used for stability, hardness and better resistance to deformation.

Ultra-refined paraffin helps with a clean burn and an even look. Stearin strengthens the structure of the candle. Natural palm wax adds hardness and support, which matters most in tall candles, which have to keep their shape and not deform easily in the heat.

The wick is chosen according to the diameter, the composition and the way the candle will be used. It isn’t put in at random.

At a diameter of 7 cm, the estimated burn is about 15 hours for every 5 cm burned, and the burn zone is planned so that the candle can be used properly during the ceremony.

We don’t say this to turn emotion into a data sheet.

But because the bride’s peace of mind often comes from things she doesn’t see: the right material, the right wick, the right proportion, the check before delivery.

Why it matters that we’re a manufacturer

The candles for Andreea and Victor weren’t a standard option from the catalogue.

They were made specially, 1.20 m tall.

This is where it matters that Servus isn’t just a shop selling ready-made models.

We’re a manufacturer. We pour the candles in our workshop in Maramureș and, when the project calls for it, we can make special sizes, outside the standard.

We don’t promise “anything”.

We check what can be done properly.

Because a wedding candle doesn’t only have to be big or spectacular.

It has to be well made.

The simple plan: so the couple don’t have to guess what they’ll receive

With a personalised candle, the hardest part isn’t putting a photograph on it.

The hardest part is knowing whether that photograph will sit well on the candle.

That’s why we work in clear steps.

The couple send us the photograph, the names, the date of the event, the message and the godparents’ names, where there are any.

We prepare the personalisation and check the proportions, the legibility and how it sits on the candle.

Then we send photos of the personalised candles on WhatsApp, before delivery.

That’s where everything is checked: that the names are correct, the date, the message, the position of the photograph and the way the personalisation looks on the candle.

Once we get the OK, we pack and deliver.

Because on the wedding day, the couple shouldn’t discover unpleasant surprises.

The surprise should be the emotion of the moment, not the product.

A story laid out right

When the candles were ready, before packing, we didn’t think of them as a simple delivery.

We thought that they would go towards a day that doesn’t repeat itself.

Into the hands of the couple and the godparents.

Into the photographs.

Into the church.

Into the memory of a day that two people will carry on with them.

Andreea and Victor, we wish you that the light of these candles stays tied to a good beginning, clean and chosen with joy.

And what stays with us is the gratitude that we could lay your story out on candles.

Right. Clean. With care.
